Morning Message 1/13/10

Good Morning! Today is Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
Day 80 of School, 100 days left
Tiger Day: I

This morning the 4th grade teachers did a great deal of planning for Virginia Day. On the morning of Virginia Day, you will be presenting your speeches and demonstrations to “tourists”-- parents, friends, and 3rd graders. After our specially prepared colonial lunch, there will be fun colonial crafts and games in the afternoon. It’s going to be a fun day!

I really appreciate everything that you are doing to make our new students feel welcome in our classroom and at TJ. It’s really tough to enter a new school and to have to learn so many new things all at once! It’s so important that everyone feels safe at school!

REMINDER: Fill out your FIT challenge every night to be eligible for prizes!

To-Do List:
  1. Complete your morning routine! Don’t forget about snack!
  2. On your desk is a new sheet of Word Study words. You may recycle your old ones. Begin cutting out your new words, then sort them. Be careful not to get your words mixed up with other people’s.
  3. When you are done, you may enjoy reading.
