Morning Message 11/16/09

Good Morning! Today is Monday, November 16, 2009.
Day 47 of School, 133 days left
Tiger Day: R

Welcome back! I’ve missed you! But I have enjoyed chatting with your parents about all your hard work and all the progress that you’ve made so far this year. We’re off to a fantastic start!

It’s time for payday again! But we have such a busy day that we’ll probably have to wait until tomorrow to do payroll.

Flag designs are due today. We’ll vote on our official flag this week.

Math classes will be reorganizing today. I’ll let you know about your maybe new teacher right before we switch. Math Olympiad tryouts are also today.

This morning we’ll be examining plants and flowers in microscopic detail so that we’ll be prepared for our dissection tomorrow and our upcoming test and project.

To-Do List:
  1. Complete your morning routine! Don’t forget about snack!
  2. Put your finished flag designs in Ms. Bragg’s turn-in-work box.
  3. Take out your Work In Progress folder and your Germinator Data Sheet. Make some quality observations about your lima beans. The description you write is just as important as the picture that you draw!
  4. Next, complete the Bill Nye Science Quiz about Flowers on your desk.
  5. If you finish early, you may enjoy reading or practicing poetry.
