Day 42 of School, 138 days left
Tiger Day: S
This morning we’ll be headed out to do some planting with Ms. Jeanette, the environmentalist who told us the “Happenings in Our Habit” story. In order to participate in the activities she has planned for us, we need to be broken into 3 groups. I will let you know which group you are in before we depart. We’ll walk down to the lobby promptly at 9am. So be sure to use your time wisely this morning. You have an important assignment to complete! (see to-do list below)
Fitting in snack will be a little tough today. We’ll eat right when we get back from planting outside. Math won’t start until 10am today because of planting. Ms. Hocutt’s and Mr. Evan’s classes need books.
Quick Question: Did anyone start a germinator or two at home? Did you use any different beans (like kidney beans, for example)? Or did you just use the lima beans?
To-Do List:
- Complete your morning routine! Don’t forget about snack!
- If you’ve got your red ribbon, pin it on.
- Keep your jacket at your desk. You’ll need it this morning when we go outside with Ms. Jeanette.
- Pull out your Work In Progress folder and take out your Germinator Data Sheet. Today is the day to make your first observations. Be sure to record the date, draw a quality picture, and write an informative description of what’s happening to your bean.
