- Don’t forget about the new responsibilities that go along with having the “Announcement magnet on your desk. You won’t go down to Ms. LeBaron’s room until after Math class.
- Tomorrow we’ll be assistant-teaching the in 3rd grade. This afternoon we’ll come up with a plan for explaining moon phases to the 3rd graders.
CONNECTING OUR LEARNING TO THE WORLD!:
- Did anyone notice the clouds this weekend?
- Has anyone heard any updates about the coal mine disaster in West Virginia?
- CHALLENGE: Why are people predicting traffic troubles in D.C. this morning? How does this connect to what we learned about the Apollo missions?
This Morning:
- We’ll be working on our timelines. We’ll also see how Dolly Madison’s life comes close to connecting the Revolutionary War era with the Civil War era. About how far apart were those two wars?
To-Do List:
- Complete your morning routine! Be sure to turn in any important papers to the “Notes for Ms. Bragg” box (like your signed test!). Return your empty Friday Folder to its mailbox! Don’t forget about snack.
- Take out your Civil War flashcards and find a partner. Study until after announcements.
