REMINDERS!:
- Today is Day 5 of Turn off the TV Week! Last night was the 4th night without screens... Has anyone used all this time to work on an interesting project?
- We ran out of time yesterday... Let’s be sure to organize our Secretary Appreciation Week this afternoon.
- You need to return 3 pieces from your report card packet (the yellow envelope, the blue cover, and the parent comments/signature). The rest is for you to keep!
THIS MORNING:
- Let’s hear from our friends who went to work with their parents yesterday. Was it interesting?
- Similar to yesterday! We’ll practice our poetry... Then....
- We’ll continue with our Virginia textbook. Let’s see if we can make it to the 20th century today! I have some more interesting videos to share with you.
To-Do List:
- Turn in any important papers to the “Notes for Ms. Bragg” box (like report cards and signed tests).
- Complete your morning routine! Don’t forget about snack.
- Take out the poem that you have chosen to recite in front of the class. Find a partner and take turns reading it with expression. Discuss how you will make your poem recitation theatrical. REMEMBER: The copy of your poem must live in your homework folder. We’ll start “dress rehearsal” practice next week... You’ll want to be taking it to and from school so that you can practice in both places.
