Morning Message: Wednesday 10-5

Our Fieldtrip to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum!

Check out this video Ms. Bragg and her assistant, Baby Cora, made last weekend! Together we show you some of the things we'll see and do on our fieldtrip.

In this video the head of the forensics department talks about the Written in Bone exhibit in general. It also happens to have been made by Mr. Bragg! Ms. Bragg is very proud! Note: There is a short commercial before the video begins.

General Classroom Schedule

This is the general plan for each day. Encore, lunch, and recess times follow the set schedule. But in-classroom subject times (Language Arts, Math, Content, Inquiry, etc.) are fairly loose and often change on a daily basis to accommodate learning activities.

The Godspeed Has Sailed Into Port Close By!

Click on the photo below to view more pictures and to find out more about how you can visit the Godspeed while its anchored on the banks of the Potomac. Ms. Bragg plans to visit this Sunday-- maybe I'll see you there!

Web Assignment

Hello 4th Graders!

Welcome to your 2nd Web assignment! Today, your job is to buddy read the following web comic with your partner. This will help us understand what forensic anthropologists do, so that we're ready to do forensic anthropology ourselves on Thursday at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

Click on the picture to start the webcomic. Be sure to take turns reading!

Good luck! And have fun expanding your brain!
