This school year is flying by! I can’t believe we’ve already got the December calendar up on the wall. Wow! It’s time to change the Poem of the Month too! We’ll probably need to wait until tomorrow to do that... Because today we have rescheduled Book Buddies and we’re also going to try to hold our first payday.
This is going to be an exciting week! We’ll be preparing for the biggest fieldtrip of the year and we’ll also be starting some exciting experiments.
Our new additions to our sophisticated word collection are now up. Let’s see if we can use these words in conversation. It’d be great to see a lot of students with stickers of word-power pride!
We have a visitor observing in our classroom again today-- a student from GMU. Please welcome her and show her what we do best.
To-Do List:
- Complete your morning routine! Don’t forget about snack and Friday Folders (put your empty Friday Folder in your mailbox).
- If you brought in a mystery item in today, you can add it to the hidden stack on the back table.
- Take out your red Language Arts notebooks and add the new poem on your desk to your collection. Practice reading it with a friend. Let’s earn some more stars today!
