Morning Message 1/15/10

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Today is January 15, 2010.
Day 82 of School, 98 days left
Tiger Day: E

This Morning: We’ll be finishing up some work-in-progress. Then we’ll watch and discuss another installment of Colonial Williamsburg’s A Day in the Life series. Anne Sparks' Day: Meet Anne Sparks, a free black woman who makes her living as a seamstress. While Mr. Carter's daughter, Elizabeth, is shopping at the millinery for accessories to wear to the ball, Anne arrives to deliver a sewing order. This episode explores family life in a free black household, and shows how even free African Americans struggled in eighteenth-century Virginia.

REMINDERS:
