We're going to be working together to learn more about geometry, using these nifty sties.
- First, we'll experiment with reflections, translations, and rotations on Encyclopedia Britannica's Transformations site. We'll do this together as a class and compare results.
- Then we'll do this BBC Intro to Transformations as a group. You'll like this one because of the accent. But you'll need to mute it on your individual computer. :-)
- We'll play some more as a group with the following: NLVM: Transformations- Reflections
- NLVM: Transformations- Rotations
- NLVM: Transformations- Translations
- Then you're on your own for...
- BrainPop Transformations. Study the video, then do the REVIEW quiz while following along on your paper copy of the quiz.
- Study Jams: Transformations
- Learn Alberta: Math 6 Spy Guys: Slides and Flips
- We'll finish off with a Study Jam and some Karaoke! Let's Classify Some Quadrilaterals!
