Well take a look at my plate
It’s a site…
’Cause it’s piled with food
Well I’m looking it over
And it looks so good
’Cause I got milk,
I got meat,
I got pasta ’n bread
I got chicken ’n egg rolls
’N processed cheese spread
I got ice cream
I got whip cream
I got tacos
I got fish
But none of it seems like a vegetable dish
But the truth of the matter of this food situation
Is that all of these things get their start with vegetation
It’s the food web

You see meat has to eat
And noodles need wheat
Yeah, we need plants for the things that we eat
’Cause sugar needs cane
’N honey needs bees
That get pollen from the flowers and the fields and the trees

Your First Online Assignment: Ecosystems!
Good morning class!
Welcome to your first blog assignment!
We've already visited with Mr. Bill Nye on the subject of Food Webs. Today we're going to continue our ecological research with some online activities. We'll check in with Tim and Moby to see what they have to say on the subject. You're going to watch 3 BrainPop videos, take a quiz on each, and draw quality pictures/diagrams to describe what you've learned. You've got a packet of all the materials you'll need. The diagrams you create will become a part of your science notebook, which will be a record of what you've studied this year. It will also help you study for your future tests/quizzes.
REMEMBER: In order to use BrainPop, you need to login-- username: tjelem, password: tiger. (Note: TJ's membership will only work during school hours).
